Serving is a great way to get to know others and be a part of helping to achieve the vision of the church.
With adults
Supporter – Come alongside someone in need and signpost them to the various help available to them. (Days / times flexible)
Money Advisor – Become an advisor for Money Advice. Training available. (Days / times flexible)
Foodbank Helper – Assist at the Foodbank or with deliveries (Wed & Fridays, 10am – 12noon)
Gardening worker – Join the Wave team giving a helping hand to people in Haslemere who need it (Sat am, fortnightly)
Pray for healing – Join our Healing on the Streets or Healing Hour teams in praying for peoples healing. (Days / times vary).
With children and youth
Playtime – Join the team helping at our vibrant & busy playgroup. (Thurs am’s, term-time)
Lava Late – Help out at our youth group for young people in school years 6 - 8 (aged approx. 10 – 13) (Tuesdays 6:30 – 8pm, term time)
Fusion after hours – Assist with our evening social group for young people in school years 9 – 13 (aged approx.13-18) (Sun , 6-8pm, term time).
The Wey Team – Support the team in providing interactive, creative and engaging opportunities for schools to encounter and explore the Christian faith. This can be through things like assemblies, prayer spaces, lessons, lunch clubs and mentoring. Opportunities available in both Primary and Secondary schools. (Time vary / term time and within school hours).
Please note, due to safeguarding, some areas will require a DBS check.
