We believe God wants to bring physical, emotional and spiritual freedom to people
We believe God wants to bring physical, emotional and spiritual freedom to people – wherever they are in the world- and he like to use his people to do it. As a church we therefore support three major charities, as well as several missionaries, that are seeking to bring these freedoms to people.

Mission partners

We help support missionaries working in West Africa, Paris, Eastern Gambia (Erik & Ele) and Papua New Guinea (Clare and Andrew), supporting them as they seek to bring the good news of Jesus to unreached people groups in these areas. Clare and Andrew work with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

You can view Clare and Andrews latest newsletter here.

What do we do to support them?

For these charities and individuals, we host special awareness raising and fundraising events / activities and provide updates in our Sunday morning services to help the whole church learn about and engage with the global issues they are tackling. Where appropriate, we participate in lobbying campaigns, bringing issues of poverty and development to the attention of government and elected representatives in the UK. We also provide their latest information in our church foyer, when available.

Examples of our past events / activities have included: Live to Give (where we sort to live for a month on what we would receive in benefits and give the rest away), charity walks, promise auctions, art exhibitions, cake sales, cream teas, film nights and musical evenings. Forthcoming events will be advertised at Church services and on our website homepage.

If you want to know more, or have an idea of a fundraising event you would like to organise, please contact our office.
